Three Choirs Festival: A Tribute to Ralph Vaughan Williams

Three Choirs FestivalOn Sunday, April 27th, the choirs of Immanuel Congregational Church in Hartford, South Church in New Britain, and Center Church in Hartford will combine with the Hartford Symphony for a celebration of the choral works of Ralph Vaughan Williams. This concert will mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Vaughan Williams, and will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the performance by these three choirs of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion at the Bushnell. The centerpiece of this concert will be the Dona Nobis Pacem for orchestra, chorus and soloists.

The program will be conducted by Richard Coffey, Jason Charneski and Mark Singleton. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear these works of this great 20th century master.
